Nursery and Reception have been enjoying the lovely weather in the woods.
Bug hunting, den building and bird watching have been the firm favourite activities and we have also been focusing on tree identification paying particular attention to leaf shape and size. We have been practicing our fine motor skills with Nursery carefully using scissors to cut the leaves and Reception had a go at sewing leaves using plastic needles and making patterns with the thread. The Sycamore leaf was the best for this!
As the weather was perfect our sun-sensitive paper came out and Reception were able to create beautiful prints from natural objects.
