A week inspired by ‘Superworm’ and Jackson Pollock for Reception

We have had fun reading the story ‘Superworm’ by Julia Donaldson this week.

Out in Forest School we dressed up as characters from the story and made potions to help break the spell put on Superworm. It was a very messy art lesson this week as we had a go at ‘splatter painting’, inspired by Jackson Pollock. Also in the classroom we have been learning about patterns in our Maths lessons and have been practising our reading and writing skills.
