Year 1 had great fun being surgeons

Year 1 had an exciting visit from Mr Chambler this morning linked to our current topic “Ourselves”.

Mr Chambler told us all about being a surgeon and taught us the names of different bones in our body, as well as why they are important.  We learned lots of interesting facts, including how many bones we have and which part of our body has the greatest number of bones.  Year 1 had great fun dressing up as surgeons in special hats and masks and looked very professional!
