Reception had a smashing time out in the woods hatching dinosaurs !

We travelled back in time this week to discover what our world would have looked like when dinosaurs roamed the land. We decided that there would have been lots of plants, forests, swamps and possibly a volcano!
After arriving back in the classroom we set about making a small world dinosaur land, which we have enjoyed playing with all week! We also worked together to make a dinosaur museum to showcase the fossils we made.
Out in the woods we discovered more dinosaur eggs. These ones, however, required our help to get the dinosaurs out. We had great fun smashing the eggs open and melting the ice.
