Remembrance poppies

The Pre-Prep children have been learning about Remembrance in preparation for the whole school Remembrance service. Each child has made a clay poppy; part of the project started in 2014, inspired by the installation of poppies at the Tower of London to commemorate the beginning of the First World War. We have made poppies each year to mark the duration of the Great War and plan to sell them in 2018 to raise money for the Poppy Appeal.

The video made in 2015 shows the processes involved in making the poppies.
