Ceramic poppies

The Pre-Prep children have been busy making ceramic poppies again this year adding to the those we made last year.

The inspiration for the poppies came from the display commemorating 100 years since the start of the Great War last year at the Tower of London. We hope to continue adding to the poppies each year until we can celebrate 100 years since the end of that war.

We were honoured that 28 of the Pre-Prep Poppies were used in the Hazlegrove Remembrance Service to commemorate former Plox and King’s Bruton pupils who lost their lives whilst in active service during and since the First World War.
