The Nursery camping and adventure themed Sports Day was a huge success. The children, sporting binoculars and maps, paraded onto the lawn to the Indiana Jones theme tune. The Year 1 and 2 children clearly enjoyed their Sports Day events: Throwing, Long Jump, 60 metre Sprint, 300 metres and Hurdles, with everyone striving to do their best whilst having lots of fun. Click here to view more photos on Flickr

We are delighted with the new additions to the Pre-Prep playground. The giant sand pit is very popular with children who want to get stuck into a bit of digging. The Headmaster made a guest appearance when, as promised, he joined the recorder group for the final Pre-Prep Concert of the year! The percussion group entertained us with a lovely, gentle rendition of Greensleeves and there were some upbeat pieces from the pianists! Well done everyone!
The Pre-Prep Summer Circus was a flamboyant spectacle! Following Circus Skills sessions earlier in the term, the children from Nursery to Year 2 performed in the Marquee against a backdrop of over 100 colourful balloons. Year 2 had a wonderful time at the Bristol Aquarium discovering fascinating facts about the many different species. We had an exciting tour, including our walk through the magical tunnel of colourful sea creatures and feeding peas to the pirhanas.
