The adventures of Katie Morag have led Year 2 to design and make some colourful kilts. The children used ribbon and card to create their designs after looking at a real kilt that belongs to Mr Robertson. They particularly loved making their sporrans ! The Reception children had their first Forest School lesson this morning. Having spent a week of their minibeast topic focusing on bees, Mrs Millard showed the children the difference between a bumble fee, a honey bee and a wasp. The Nursery camping and adventure themed Sports Day was a huge success. The children, sporting binoculars and maps, paraded onto the lawn to the Indiana Jones theme tune. The Year 1 and 2 children clearly enjoyed their Sports Day events: Throwing, Long Jump, 60 metre Sprint, 300 metres and Hurdles, with everyone striving to do their best whilst having lots of fun. Click here to view more photos on Flickr

We are delighted with the new additions to the Pre-Prep playground. The giant sand pit is very popular with children who want to get stuck into a bit of digging.
